TITLE: Tofu Packager, Permanent full-time & part-time positions available

LOCATION: Vancouver, BC

 

 

MAJOR POSITION ACOUNTABILITIES

·      Ensures the final product net weight is above the required packaged weight with correct code date.

·      Ensures that broken, cracked, chipped corner tofu is not packaged.

·      Substitutes for others workers during meal break.

·      Works together with Leadhands to ensure labels or films are centered on the packages and are sealed with no leakers. Leakers and unaligned film packages are to be kept separately in large baskets.

·      Ensures all products are stacked on good, correct type of pallets and meets the “ti hi” requirement.

·      Ensures proper rotation of soymilk tanks (first filled must be packaged first).

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

-          Morning and afternoon shift work

-          Works in production plant setting

 

Requirements:

-          Physically fit

-          Willingness to work over weekends

-          Ability to communicate in Mandarin/Cantonese is a definite asset
