This Sesame Chili Crisp Tofu is so good, even tofu skeptics will be hooked! Made with Sunrise Traditional Tofu, it’s comforting, flavourful, and perfect over rice.

Ingredients
1 pkg | Sunrise Traditional Freshpack Tofu |
1 tbsp | chili crisp |
1½ tbsp | soy sauce |
1 tbsp | sesame seeds , crushed |
2 tbsp | cornstarch |
Chili Crisp Sauce:
1 tbsp | chili crisp |
1 tbsp | soy sauce |
1 tbsp | mirin |
1 tbsp | oyster sauce |
1 tsp | rice vinegar |
1 tbsp | garlic , minced |
½ cup | water |
1 tbsp | cornstarch |
1 cup | green onions , chopped |
1 tbsp | sesame seeds , crushed |
Directions
- Tear tofu into bite sized pieces in a large mixing bowl. Add chili crisp, soy sauce, and crushed sesame seeds. Mix until well coated. Sprinkle cornstarch and toss again. Air fry on 375F for 22 minutes, flipping once halfway.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, chili crisp, mirin, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, water, and cornstarch. Reserve half of the sesame seeds for garnish.
- In a large wok or non-stick skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Toss in garlic and green onions and sauté for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
- Add the sauce mixture and once it starts bubbling, lower heat to low. Stir sauce consistently for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add crispy tofu in the sauce and toss quickly until thoroughly coated.
- Serve with a side of steamed broccoli or veggies, rice, and garnish with remaining crushed sesame seeds. Enjoy!
