Steamed Tofu and Prawns

Ingredients
1 pkg | Sunrise Silken Tube Tofu |
10 | medium size prawns , shells off, deveined, tails on |
Marinade
2 tbsp | garlic , minced |
1 tbsp | soy sauce |
1 tbsp | cornstarch |
1 tbsp | sesame oil |
½ tsp | white pepper |
Garnish
2-3 tbsp | sesame oil |
cilantro (optional) | |
green onions (optional) |
Directions
- Wash, rinse and drain shrimp.
- Combine marinade ingredients, add prawns and toss to coat. Refrigerate.
- Cut tofu into 10 slices.
- Place tofu into steaming dish, place shrimp on top of tofu, steam for 6-8 minutes or until prawns are cooked.
- Plate cooked tofu/shrimp on a platter and drizzle with sesame oil.
