Ingredients
1 pkg | Sunrise Extra Firm Tofu |
Breading
2 cups | plain kettle cooked potato chips , crushed |
3 tbsp | nutritional yeast flakes |
½ cup | all-purpose flour |
½ cup | cornstarch |
½ cup | Sunrise Unsweetened Soya Beverage 1.89L |
1 tsp | smoked paprika |
1 tsp | garlic powder |
2 tsp | onion powder |
1 tsp | salt |
fresh ground pepper to taste |
Directions
- Wrap tofu in paper towel and press excess water out by weighing down with a heavy pan for 10 minutes, removing as much liquid as possible.
- Combine crushed potato chips and nutritional yeast in a bowl and set aside.
- Combine remaining ingredients together in a medium size bowl to create a coating to dip the tofu in.
- Tear tofu into large bite-size chunks and place in bowl, stir to coat well. Then remove for coating and roll in chip mixture until evenly coated.
- Air Fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping over halfway through.
Tip
Serve with sriracha mayo, sweet chili sauce or your favourite dipping sauce.
